June call for project - Updates COVID-19

June 2020: a call for project dedicated to reconstruction

The Foundation’s next call for projects will be open from June 1st to 30, 2020 at midnight (GMT +1 / Paris time).

Faced with the exceptional situation linked to the COVID-19 epidemic, the June call for projects is reoriented to better address the demands and needs of associations faced with the hazards of the crisis (reorientation of all or part of their activities, inability to conduct face-to-face programs, partial activity, etc.).

In this context, beyond the usual eligibility criteria mentionned above, the Foundation will pay particular attention to the needs expressed (project financing, exceptional operating costs) by partner associations, directly or indirectly linked to the COVID-19 crisis and its consequences.

The Foundation remains fully mobilized and we want to reaffirm our support to all of our partners

Frédéric Oudéa, Head of the Societe Generale Foundation

We know the importance of the actions of our partner NGOs but also the complexity of the situations you are currently experiencing. We want to reaffirm the support of our team and the Société Générale Foundation.

Everyone, at their level, acts responsibly to ensure the protection of individuals while preserving the continuity of all activities, including yours. That is why, we made sure, despite the events, the Foundation’s decision-making bodies could still meet by telephone this week. Thus, 18 new supports were approved for projects working in the areas of professional integration and integration through education of disadvantaged communities.

Faithful to our vocation as sponsor and close partner, we remain mobilized on the projects that bring us together, fundamental in this uncertain period.

Your well-being and the continuity of your activity are our priorities and our thoughts are with you in these difficult times..

Société Générale launches a World Solidarity Programme

- The Group donated €1 million to the “All United Against Coronavirus” alliance led by the Fondation de France, the AP-HP, Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris and the Institut Pasteur. Employees in France can join the movement by making a donation.

- Special donations have been made to 7 partner NGOs. In addition, when the health crisis broke out in countries where we are present, support action was taken, especially in China, Romania, Italy, Tunisia, and the United States. Our teams are mobilized worldwide to ensure service continuity, help our clients, and protect our employees. They are also mobilized to support efforts of public players and associations.
